DIY bee hotel workshop

Build your own native bee hotel!!

Most of Australia’s 1700 native bee species are solitary, & bee hotels provide nests for these vital solo pollinators, enticing them to spend more time in your garden & reproduce.

With the arrival of Varroa Mite on the Central Coast, many honey bee keepers have had their hives destroyed— including us here at Mustard Seed. Our local gardens & ecosystems need pollinators to function properly, so we're hoping to give our native bee populations a boost, one backyard at a time :)

Build a hotel & take it home to your own garden, or gift it to a local gardener through our Bee Kind initiative: you’ll be supporting both our gardening community & our local native bee populations.
