Mustard Seed Small Farm is a unique, family-friendly and interactive farm experience all within an easy drive from Sydney, Newcastle and the Central Coast.
At the farm, families can enjoy feeding and petting the animals, learn about growing food and even get your hands a little dirty planting and picking your own fresh produce for tonight’s dinner.
Interactive family farm workshops last 1.5 hrs and are strictly by appointment only.

You and your family will get hands-on as you explore interdependent natural relationships, plant and animal needs, and the life cycles of the food crops we love.
Your experience is filled with a combination of open-ended exploration and play, as well as farmer-guided activity stations. Here are some examples of the types of things you’ll do.
Explore seasonal farm phenomena while learning about the season’s crops
Engage with plants and farm animals in a safe, fun and educational way
Identify helpers and pests on a farm, learn about composting and see nutrient cycling in action at our compost station.
